Oh yeah...

This is horror movie material

AttackTh3Radical responds:

I was listening to a lot of White Zombie when I did this actually haha

Funky fresh

I love the way this sounds like it's being spun by a DJ at a block party in the late 80s. The little thing at 1:17 is pretty damn cool and gives the track kind of an old school breakbeat feel. Love all the sounds and the birds chirping is definitely a nice touch.

Thanks.
I'm glad it gave you that "DJ block party" feel. I think it's cool that you felt that way about it.

Very Nice

I wish I would have played this one instead

LoopDaLoop responds:

Haha, thanks yo!
Why dont you do it? Your the music man right?

Sounds really good

Even if it is a little light on the bass. It makes up for it on the drums (really nice work on getting that almost spastic feeling in the drum track!) and the high notes sound really cool and resonant. I can't tell if you use any loops or multis but if you do, you can find a really nice collection of them at http://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/s ampleradar-328-free-drum-n-bass-sampl es-222244
I use them all the time for genres outside of DnB.

Nice work overall,

buyj3llo responds:

Thankyou thankyou.
No loops on this track. Also, thankyou for the link to the samples, I'll check those out and add them to my collection. I've been looking for new drum stuff to incorporate for a while now, so those loops are right up my ally.

Good beat

I really like the beat, it's nice and busy yet still clear enough to hear all the parts. And the individual reverbs and delays on specific drum hits adds a really nice touch, The kick drum does a good job of providing some thump but I can't help but think it could use a proper bassline. Nice work though

buyj3llo responds:

thankyou thankyou.
I'm glad to see that those individual reverbs and delays did their intended job.

Nice stuff

I especially like the warbling synth that kicks in at about 0:45in

Nice work

Why thank you kind sir. Warbling is a great word.

Good start

It sounds alright but it could definitely use a bass line and a clap would really help the rhythm out. Your key/piano sounds are great but a good pad could help fill that empty sounding space between the drums and the keys. Not bad, could be good with a few additions.

iDarkBoy responds:

I guess. I didn't add any just because I didn't want the sounds to mix up and sound wrong. But thanks for the review.

Little spooky

It has a very foreboding quality to it, I actually can't decide whether it needs something else or not. Maybe some strings could add a nice ambiance but they could also drown out the piano, which stands very well on it's own in this piece.

Thanks for reviewing!
Actually I had a super black metal-epic thingy goin on into my head, and this is the only significant bit I that managed to take out from it, in the last 30 minutes of my day :v
Maybe one day I will find the will (and the power, and the time) to build a 6/7 min. long uber super epic black death metal-ish thing. Woah.

btw you're the first reviewer! yay :D

Peace,
