Let me be frank...

You've written a decent song here, like this could probably be well liked by the "tweens". But i'll be honest, you are not a singer sir... It's okay, i'm no singer either. Find someone who's a good singer and this could be a fairly good song, possibly with some limited radio potential even.

Bobomatic responds:

Thank you for being honest and complimentary. It's rare to find those reviews.

Hmm

It's slow and seriously groovy, with a great selection of synths and a decent percussion selection. Nice work

OSXGuru007 responds:

Why thank you! I was actually satisfied with it too.

A few issues...

The acoustic guitar in the beginning is good but slightly out of tune. And the cymbal is WAY too loud in the mix. I like all the electric guitars throughout the song but the part with the horn accompaniment, well, the horns sound like they falling in and out of time. And the drums are great but like I said, the cymbal needs turned down. I give a six because the composition is good and most of it is in time but I have to take off a few points because the production quality could have been better.

carlitozsx56686 responds:

thank you, i'll keep for my next work... i can't fix it in this because i lost the master tracks after exporting it to mp3 xD

Again, thank you for your constructive review :)

Interesting

I'd like to see what you could throw on top of it. Could be some interesting results.

llennnn16 responds:

don't know how to attack it next but im trying. thnx

Eh...

There's really not enough mid and low range frequencies on this track. I like the high pitched loop you had but the song needs some more to it. Keep it up, it could be good

thatguy669606 responds:

oh yes I'm aware this is bland and pretty shitty I was just testing out grossbeat while using a little pitch modulation on a single note...plus it was on a demo of FL 9 so I'm not going back to redo this. I just uploaded it to let a buddy hear it. Thanks anyway.

Oooh

Yeah I like this, it could have some more to it but I think it's actually pretty good in its current form. 9/10 nice job

lanky21 responds:

Thanks Trey, I appreciate the kind words.

Smooth

It's nice, smooth and mellow with just a little hit of dirt in the lead synth. Nicely done.

Syntrus responds:

Oh yes space has dirt. Not a lot but a lil is bound to end up on the playas ship.

Pretty good...

Well, I'm not sure about they heavy distorted guitar but I like everything else. You should try to add some more presence to the low frequencies with some gentle EQ. And maybe use an exicter, I recomend "X-cita" or TesslaPRO" both can be found at kvraudio.com. And they're both free. Good work 8/10

TheFatBunny responds:

thank you i greatly appreciate it and thx for the help sir... or ma'am...w/e lol.........lady gaga status? lol jkjk

It's alright

It sounds like mad world, it just feels like there isn't a whole lot of movement to it. Maybe add some oscillation and creative panning and push the snare drum a little further into the background.

ZtheG responds:

thanks for the input. I might mess with it more later and try out your suggestions.

Kick-ass

It's got great drums, great bass, great highs, and it even stops and stutters. Great stuff, in fact you should make more

kjhsdgf responds:

lol, great idea, but if only i could find the file :/
thanks for the comment anyhow , buddy.
